I have an exciting project in the pipeline for all you visual workers out there freelancing or running a small business. I’ve been running Graphic Change for the last 13 years and I know how challenging and rewarding that journey is. After years of working it out, making mistakes and learning lessons, I’m lucky to have reached a place of a predictable and sustainable income year on year.
I wish I’d had a group to support me on that journey. People who truly understood the work I was doing and could help me not only continue stretching my practice, but could also help me grow my business.
That is the essence of my idea. A supportive community to help you grow your practice, with expert input and peer support. A tribe.
I’m still very much in the planning stage and I’m looking for people who'd like to join me in a focus group to help inform the plan.
It will take place in Nottingham, England. A morning focus group, followed by a tasty lunch and a fun afternoon of skills training for those who attend. If you're interested but can't get to Nottingham or the UK, there will be an online alternative.
